Nearly two years ago I had a difficult season of anxiety, complete with racing heart, physical weariness, anxious thoughts spiraling out of control, and life-altering worry that engulfed my every thought and breath. Just Looking
I knew yesterday would be difficult for her. Most of the furniture had been moved and everything in the garage was gone. The moving truck had been there a couple of times so I knew there wasn’t much left. Except memories. Her children now have children of their own. I Will Listen to You
I was reminded of a scripture verse recently upon our son's graduation from high school. I used it in my graduation letter to him as well as his sister two years prior but this reminder made me think it was worth sharing here too. Creator of the Night Sky and Racecars
Have you ever looked up at the night sky, especially out in the country away from the lights of the big city, to see the wonders of the Milky Way Galaxy? It's stunningly beautiful. Just look at a spot, one spot, intently for a long time. It takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes for your eyes to fully adjust to the lack of light. As far as you can look, you only see a fraction of the stars in any one spot. There are about 200 billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy, and there are about as many galaxies in the universe.
