I was on my way to work when I noticed a gentleman struggling to cross Staples Street. He was wheelchair bound propelling his wheelchair with much difficulty. He had one foot that worked in sequence to his weakened arms. I pulled my car over and pushed him to his destination. He thanked me and he told me, “The Lord is coming back!”
I replied, “Yes, He is!”
When I got home from work that day and shared the story with my husband, we cried and rejoiced that the Lord reminded us through this man that Jesus is coming back! I had driven down that same road for nine years and I never saw him again! I believe he was an angel. As the old hymn says, “This world is not my home. I’m just passing through. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue. The angels beckon me from Heaven’s open door. And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.”
You never know how our loving Lord will comfort you! I am sure I was not the only person to be driving on Staples Street that day. I am sure people drove by and were irritated that this man was trying to cross a busy street. He probably got a few honks of the horn from other drivers. I believe he was an angel for me — A beautiful angel in a wheelchair with a message, “The Lord is coming back!”

“Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood–being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it.”
-Hebrews 13:2 (Amplified)
