“Walk with God now, and then for eternity….” these are the words my mom inscribed in a Bible for me as a child. I don’t know where she heard it spoken that way, or if she came up with it on her own. However, the beautiful simplicity and seamless walk of the Believer moving from this life into the next sums up her life beautifully. Since her childhood, and until her passing, her greatest love was always Jesus Christ. I can confidently say she was crazy in love with dad, head-over-heals for her children, and adored her grandchildren beyond belief. In fact, my mom was my best friend, and I ... Read the Post
Faith or Fact
I recently had a conversation with a dear friend about a topic that many Christians have had to address. She was sharing her struggle in witnessing to a friend about Christ. She considered herself a “baby Christian” and the person she was witnessing to was very set in his non-Christian belief system. Thank God for Flees
As I attempt to rush my three children to the car without them being attacked by the blood-thirsty swarm of mosquitoes, I am reminded of an unforgettable book, The Hiding Place, I read as a young teenager. The story is the account of Corrie ten Boom’s horrific, yet, inspirational ordeal in a Nazi concentration camp. Her family was apprehended while hiding Jews in their home, and, as a result, suffered unimaginable miseries. These are the type of circumstance that either leave people in utter spiritual despair or strengthen their faith and hope in the Lord. Corrie’s sister, Betsie, was an ... Read the Post
