I’m sure everyone knows the story of Esther, the most beautiful woman in all of the land who won the favor of King Xerxes; the woman who was given a royal crown and banquet in honor of her beauty; and the woman who with prayer and courage chose to stand before the king in order to save her people.
Her story is amazing, and I know that I aspire to be just like her—beautiful, intelligent, and faithful to my Lord. What I find so incredible about Esther is that she was not untouchable; she was a real woman with fears and doubts about her beauty, her abilities, and her faith. She struggled with the fear of the unknown and the fear of failure.
In our walk with the Lord, when we are weak, God is strong. I want to encourage all women that God is with us through our fear of who we are, who we strive to become, and who we are created to be. God walks with us through our struggles; and despite our fears and doubts, God uses us to reveal His every day miracles. Esther was just like you and me, and God utilized her faith to save a nation.
Esther simply said, “Yes.” What is your answer today? Will you say “yes” to God?

And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?”
– Esther 4:13-14 (NIV)
Prayer Prompt:
