I’ve been blessed in my life to have had military wives as friends, and I’ve learned a lot from them. I respect and admire them so much. When their family is stationed somewhere new, the women know that they will only be there for a short time. Therefore, the women have learned ways of making the most of the time they have in their new home. One friend summarized it this way. “The first thing I do is put out my pictures of family and friends. Graduation
It’s hard to believe, but I am currently in the process of addressing high school graduation announcements for my oldest son! It seems like just yesterday that he was bouncing into a classroom for the very first time, and now he’s grown. He has gone from one stepping- stone to the next in such a flash; I can hardly keep up. I still see him as a little boy, but he’s spent the last eighteen years trying to break that mold! He’s changed so much in such a short time, and I am amazed at how God has uniquely “shaped” him.
