One night not too long ago, the noise of neighborhood dogs barking woke me from a deep sleep. I was groggy, but my first thought was: “Why are all the dogs barking?” There had been a few burglaries in the area, so our neighborhood was on alert for unusual activity. Battle Against Sin
Interesting historical fact: George Washington fought the American Revolution for absolutely no pay. He believed in the American cause so much that he was willing to fight and die with no reward other than knowing he helped us to be free from British tyranny. Is it just me, or does that sound just a tiny bit like someone else we all know? Do you ever notice that some women seem to become more beautiful with each passing year? It’s as if they have a glow about them which is rooted from deep within.
